Privacy and cookie policy

1. Data controller
The controller of personal data collected through this website is Secure Tech Group Inc. ("SecureTech"), based in Torre Global Bank, Calle 50, Piso 16, Oficina 1602, Panama City, Republic of Panama. For any privacy-related question, please write to info@securetech.com.pa.
2. Legal framework
We process personal data in accordance with Panama's Law 81 of 26 March 2019 on Personal Data Protection and its implementing regulation, Executive Decree 285 of 2021. Where applicable to individuals located in the European Union or Switzerland, we also take into account the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
3. What data we process
This is an informational website with no user accounts or tracking tools. We only process:
- Data you send us through the contact form or by email: name, organisation, job title, email address, phone number (optional), sector, topic and the content of your message, together with the date you accepted this policy. The form does not store data in a database: it forwards it as an email to our contact mailbox.
- Form abuse protection: to limit bulk submissions, the server keeps for one hour a hashed identifier derived from the IP address, without storing the address itself.
- Technical browsing data: for security and operational reasons, the server hosting the site automatically logs data such as IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested and browser type.
4. Purposes and legal basis
- Answering your enquiries and preparing service proposals: based on the consent you give by ticking the form checkbox or writing to us and on pre-contractual steps you request.
- Keeping the website secure and working properly (preventing attacks and abuse, diagnosing errors): based on our legitimate interest.
- Complying with legal obligations that apply to us.
We do not use your data for advertising, we do not build profiles and we do not make automated decisions that affect you.
5. Retention
We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and manage any resulting business relationship, and afterwards for the periods required by law. Server logs are kept for a limited period and deleted regularly, unless needed to investigate a security incident.
6. Recipients and transfers
We do not sell or share your data with third parties. Only the providers of our web hosting and email services may access it, as processors bound by confidentiality obligations. Some of these providers may be located outside Panama; in that case we require appropriate safeguards. We may also disclose data to authorities where required by law.
7. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures proportionate to the risk: encrypted connections (HTTPS), patched and hardened servers, restricted access to information and the principle of least privilege.
8. Your rights
You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection and, where applicable, portability, and withdraw your consent, by writing to info@securetech.com.pa. We will reply within the time limits set by law. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with Panama's National Authority for Transparency and Access to Information (ANTAI).
9. Use of cookies
We also do not load fonts, scripts or content from external servers: the whole site is served from our own domain. For this reason no consent banner is needed. If we ever add cookies that are not strictly necessary, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the law or in how the website works. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
